316L Stainless Precision Ground Shaft AISI 316L | UNS S31603
316L stainless steel precision ground shaft is suitable for customers who need strong corrosion resistance, reliable dimensional accuracy, and stable performance in harsh operating environments. With its low carbon content, 316L helps reduce the risk of intergranular corrosion, making it a preferred material for applications exposed to moisture, chemicals, temperature variation, or demanding service conditions.
Compass Power Tech manufactures 316L stainless steel precision ground shafts for components that require long service life, smooth motion, and dependable resistance to corrosion. The material performs well in both high-temperature and low-temperature environments, supporting applications where strength and durability must remain stable under changing working conditions.
For customers producing precision shafts, corrosion-resistant motion components, pneumatic parts, hydraulic parts, valve components, pump parts, or equipment used in challenging environments, 316L stainless steel precision ground shaft offers a dependable balance of corrosion resistance, mechanical performance, and surface quality.

- Cut-to-length service: Shaft length can be customized according to customer assembly requirements.
- End chamfering: Both ends of the shaft can be chamfered to simplify downstream machining and installation.
- Drawing-based machining: Shafts can be machined according to customer drawings and supplied as ready-to-assemble components.
- Surface rolling treatment: Surface rolling can be applied to improve surface hardness when higher wear resistance is required.
To protect stainless steel precision ground shafting during sea freight and storage, Compass Power Tech uses anti-rust paper tube packaging. Before wrapping, anti-rust oil is applied evenly to the shaft surface, and anti-rust wax is applied inside the paper tube. This protection process helps reduce corrosion risk during transportation and ensures customers receive shafts in stable, ready-to-use condition.
We manufacture precision ground shafts, stainless steel tubing, piston rods and aluminum alloy cylinder tubes for hydraulic, pneumatic, machinery, energy and transportation applications. Contact us for material selection, specifications and customization support.
